No single group can tackle today’s urban challenges alone. That's why CoNECT was built on a foundation of fostering multi-actor partnerships—bringing together everyone from residents and artists to city departments, universities, and local companies. Our goal was to break down barriers between knowledge and action, to find more effective and just solutions for urban transformation. We shared views and allowed global thinking and research insights to inform our processes, but the real work was always situated — grounded in the histories, needs, and creativity of local communities in France, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain and Sweden.
